Finestra Art Space continues its 2009 curatorial series "Integration = Form + Concept + Context" with an installation by Stephen Mueller entitled "Ochre Mounds", in which he uses various colors of ochre from Aboriginal artists in Australia - painting with dirt and water. Opening reception on Friday, June 12th from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM.

Gallery UNO - 410 S. Michigan Av, FAB Building, Suite 541. Jennifer Baker's Solo Show 'Trial'. 'This site specific, multi-sensory installation allows the audience to enter the space that the fawn inhabits, a forest of contemplation that is at once peaceful and spooky. The event includes Jenny Walters’s photo show “In Lieu of Gifts,” potluck grilling, 5pm readings from forthcoming Green Lantern Press books, and a 9pm BYOB performance by Casual Encounters, Oniou and I Kong Cult ($5 suggested donation).
